Mr Vusi Montsho
Current Studies: PhD Candidate, Da Vinci Institute. Proposed topic is entitled “Culture Transformation as a Key Driver for Sustainable Organisational Change”.
Completed Studies: Master of Management, Thesis Entitled “Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) Through Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs”), University of the Witwatersrand; Management Development Programme, Gordon Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS), University of Pretoria; Nation Higher Diploma in Public Management, University of South Africa; National Diploma in Public Administration, Tshwane University of Technology; Certificate in Industrial Relations, Institute of Administration & Commerce.
Vusi is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bantsho and is a former executive at South African Airways (SAA) responsible for BEE, Procurement and Employment Equity. He was a BEE Commission (BEECom) commissioner and a signatory of the Black Economic Empowerment Commission Report, the report that mainly influenced the BEE legislation in South Africa. The Commission was chaired by the current State President, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa.
He served on the board of the West Rand Development Agency as a non-executive member and chaired the Human Resources committee from May 2006 to December 2011. He also served on the advisory board of the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Department of Entrepreneurship, where he also lectured part-time. He was also a member of the advisory board of Monash University South Africa’s School of Business and Economics. He serves on the Strategic Management and Innovation Committee at the University of Witwatersrand. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) of Southern Africa and TMA Global.
He has presented papers at corporate workshops for clients such as Mondi Limited, Xerox SA, South African Bus Operators Association (SABOA), the Office of the Auditor General and Mazmoh Consulting which have laid foundation and initiated debates and discussions on BEE and economic transformation in these organisations. He has provided technical and strategic BEE advice to the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism and the Office of the Auditor-General.
Vusi has presented papers on BEE at conferences hosted by the Institute for International Relations (IIR), the Indigenous Peoples Business Council of Namibia (IPBC), Mazmoh Consulting and Knowledge Upgrade Management. He has also participated in interviews nationally and internationally for print and electronic media such as the Soweto SABC’s Take 5 (a youth programme) and Enterprise Zone, Radio 702, Gordon Institute of Business Science’s Newsletter and electronic and print media in Namibia Australia and the United States of America (USA).

David Letlhogonolo Moeletsi
Completed Studies: – National Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting, University of South Africa; Certificate Programme in Management Development, University of the Witwatersrand Business School.
Mr. Moeletsi is a Corporate Services Executive. He has shaped his career in the public and private sectors where he has gained vast experience in the financial and operations industries. He has managed projects in ICT and artisanal development involving the training of young people. He has the responsibility to oversee revenue and non-revenue generating operations/systems and ensure that they are managed professionally. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, he provides strategic planning, operational support and advice to senior management on administrative matters such as staff management and financial planning.
In a business environment that is strongly regulated, he ensures that employees conform to the firm’s policies and procedures. With his strong financial management background, he oversees expense management, including budget tracking, headcount ratios, and travel and expense reports, and other kinds of expenses pertaining to the organisation, with a focus on adherence to firm policies.

Dr Laurentia Truter
Completed Studies: Bachelor of Arts, LLB (cum laude), LLM and LLD (University of Pretoria).
Dr Truter is a business associate of Bantsho and is the sole owner of Truter & Associates, a professional consulting entity specialising in employment law, employee relations, employment equity and diversity. She has specialist expertise in the areas of employment law, employment equity, and disability equity with close to 15 years’ experience. The topic of her doctoral dissertation was Disability, Discrimination and Equal Opportunities – A Comparative Labour Law Study. She was previously employed as a Senior Manager in the Employment Law work stream, Human Resource Services division of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
She has experience in both the public and private sector and advises local and international clients on labour issues. She regularly conducts in-house training on workplace related issues. She also assists clients to draft and review human resource related policies and employment contracts (local and expatriate).
She advises on grievance and disciplinary matters, drafting of charge sheets and acts as disciplinary chair in disciplinary hearings dealing with misconduct and poor work performance. She assists clients with individual employee and collective trade union engagements on matters pertaining to employment and conditions of service, including restructurings and changes in employment conditions. She has contributed to academic journals and professional periodicals. She also regularly facilitates employment equity forums, drafting of employment equity plans, as well as the drafting of disability strategies and policies. Clients include PricewaterhouseCoopers, the South African Reserve Bank, the University of Pretoria, African Banking Corporation, Wika Instruments (Pty) Ltd, Synntech (Pty) Ltd, Fundamo (Pty) Ltd, VISA Southern Africa, Herbalife, ABB South Africa as well as Stefanutti Stocks Roads Pipelines & Mining.

Dr Jerry Gule
Dr. Gule is the Managing Director of Gule Executive Coaching (Pty) Limited, which he founded in 2016 after successfully completing the International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified Coach Training programme at the University of Pretoria Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) Professional Business Coaching Programme in 2015. Gule Executive Coaching provides services to clients in diverse markets and sectors as per client requirements.

Mr Thuto Montsho
Thuto Montsho is an Intern at Bantsho. He is finalising his Bachelor of Admin in Brand Building and Business Management at Vega. He has been building experience in creative marketing and brand strategy at Bantsho, advising the company in contemporary and innovative approaches. He is dedicated to utilising the skills gained and capable is also of adapting to different business environments.

Ms Jenny Jeftha
Completed Studies: Master of Arts in Sociology, Roosevelt University, Diploma in Social Work, University of the Western Cape; Diploma in Labour Law, Graduate Institute for Management Technology (GIMT); Certificate Programme in Labour Dispute Resolution, University of South Africa’s Centre for Business Law.
Jenny’s career spans over a period of 25 years. Today, she is an accomplished HR Expert with demonstrated ability to strategically lead and manage the HR function in a number of organisations, among them in the Petro-chemical sector (10 years at the Central Energy Fund (CEF) Pty Ltd and more recently in the financial sector at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) (4½ years). She has a sound and credible track record in terms of developing and delivering on HR strategies and has extensive experience in the entire value chain of HR from entry to exit. She has led and managed teams ranging in size from 20 to 65 and was privileged to have had opportunities which has led to the development of innovative and creative solutions within specific organisations.
She is an independent consultant, and partners with various HR specialists or organisations on a range of HR projects. Some of these projects include facilitating transformation initiatives including values and culture change interventions, facilitating the development of career and skills development strategies as part of the broader talent management strategies for organisations (more specifically, the development of multiple-career paths), conducting skills audits, developing reward policies and strategies including Performance Management policies and strategies, facilitating the development of HR Strategies, mentoring and coaching, motivational talks on a range of topics, e.g. ethics, leadership, integrity, facilitation of team initiatives etc. In addition to the above, she currently serves on two Boards as an Independent Remuneration Committee Member and Chairperson as follows:
Government Employee’s Pension Fund (GEPF); and
Medshield Medical Aid Fund
Her mission and aspiration is to continue serving organisations in whichever capacity she is able to add value by providing insights and perspectives based on my expertise, knowledge and maturity in the field of Human Resources. Of particular interest to her is influencing organisations to pursue good governance practices in the HR field, ensuring appropriate and relevant Reward Strategies and Policies are implemented, providing guidance to the Boards of organisations in respect of transformation initiatives and interventions, facilitating good HR practices and policies and mentoring, coaching and inspiring HR professionals whenever the opportunity presents itself.
