The core team of Bantsho consists of the following professionals:
Vusi Montsho
Mr. Montsho is the Chief Executive Officer of Bantsho. He holds a Master of Management degree (P&DM) from the University of the Witwatersrand. His thesis was entitled " Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) through Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs)". Mr. Montsho was a commissioner and a signatory of the Black Economic Empowerment Commission Report, the report that mainly influenced the BEE legislation in South Africa. The Commission was chaired by Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa. Mr. Montsho serves on the board of the West Rand Development Agency as a non-executive member, and chairs the Human Resources committee. He also serves on the advisory board of the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Department of Entrepreneurship, where he also lectures part-time. He is also a member of the advisory board of Monash University South Africa’s School of Business and Economics. He serves on the Strategic Management and Innovation Committee at the University of Witwatersrand and is a member of the Southern African Innovation Network. He was also a tutor at Technikon SA and a lecturer at Damelin Management School. He is a former council member of the Institute of Management Consultants of South Africa (IMCSA). read more
Kudakwashe Chipendo
Mr. Chipendo is a Business Development Consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) – Finance & Banking from the University of Zimbabwe. He has completed an Interaction Leadership Program (British Certified Trainer of Trainers (How to Start and Run a Business) with the Friedrich Nauman Foundation. Mr. Chipendo started his Investment Banking career with MBCA Bank Limited formerly Merchant Bank of Central Africa Limited (“MBCA”) in 2001 as a Trainee Corporate Analyst in the Advisory Services Division. Upon completion of the training, Mr. Chipendo worked as a financial consultant and trainer for The National Entrepreneurship Development Programme whilst completing his studies before joining Imara Edwards Securities formerly Fleming Martin Edwards Zimbabwe, a leading stock broking firm, as an Investment Analyst. While at Imara, Mr. Chipendowas actively involved in investment research with a primary focus on equities in Zimbabwe, Malawi and South Africa. read more
Tefo Monotoe
Mr. Monotoe is a Training Management Consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Operations Management from Hertfordshire University. He is a Project Management specialist with a strong Business Development background. He has provided consulting services to various clients, including Change Management consulting for the Social Development Department in the Eastern Cape, Project Management training for the Free State government officials, train-the-trainer programme on sales and negotiation skills for the Services SETA, provision of project management training for fourth-year Public Finance and Accounting students at the Tshwane University of Technology, conducting a customer satisfaction survey for the Gauteng Economic Propeller (GEP) and facilitation of business management training for Xerox/Bytes SA.
Lucas Kwanini
Mr. Kwanini is a Junior Business Consultant. He holds an N5 Management Practice Diploma from the South College. His responsibilities include playing a supportive role to consultants at Bantsho. He is also responsible for ensuring sound project monitoring and external communication with clients.
Motseoa Mokoloko
Ms. Mokoloko is an Office Assistant. She completed a Secretarial Course at Johannesburg Business College. Her responsibilities include administration and bookkeeping at Bantsho. She is also responsible for internal communication at Bantsho.
